Team Show Jumping

The KEPS hosted team Show Jumping event was a great success and huge thanks must go to Lyndsay Opperman for all of her organisation before the event and tireless work on the day!

Our team of jumping 'Kestrels' did amazingly well, the results are below and we hope to add photos very soon.

'Kingsbury Karpz' Super Swim Team

Frankie, Holly, Maya and Oscar did our school proud at the Primary Schools South West Division Gala on Monday 29th April 2013. They swam brilliantly and were really unlucky not to qualify for the next round,they finished 4th amidst some strong competition.

Willow Weaving

Ash class, Willow class and Beech class got to do some willow weaving courtesy of the May Festival committee and Mr Fawcett. Their flowery creations can be seen attached to the gazebo on the playing field and they will be taken down to the May Festival for use in the procession so everyone can enjoy them!

15 to 24 March 2013: Celebrating science, engineering and technology.

To launch this event on Friday 15th March we all took part in a Science Day. The children completed a range of workshops looking at Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Engineering.

World Book Day

We have had a great day today, the children looked great with their book 'clues' and this afternoon the older children read to the younger children. Everybody seemed to get a lot from this whole experience.

Year 5 Residential - 27th Feb - 1st March

The year 5 children are enjoying a fun packed three day stay at the New Barn residential centre. They have had the opportunity to live as Celts for a day, make clay sculptures, complete the orienteering course and lots more!

Snowy Day

We all had great fun playing in the snow at school!

Exchange of Christmas Cards with Spain

Our School has established a link with Escola Salvador Espriu in Montgat, Barcelona, and the children in each class made Christmas Cards. Our cards arrived to their school just before Christmas and their cards arrived this week. It is a lovely idea that hopefully will initiate some correspondence between the children.
