Science Workshop - Chemistry

We had a visit from Shell Education Service who ran a series of science workshops across the school looking at the chemistry of a candle. They had the opportunity to mould wax and create their own special candle as well as learning about the reversible and irreversible effects of burning wax.

Ramadan Presentations

We have been researching the Muslim festival of Ramadan. We presented our findings to the rest of the class.

As part of our topic on 'Water' we visited Sutton Bingham Reservoir. We took part in science experiments and saw first hand the water treatment works.

• The differences between invertebrates and vertebrates
• The five classes (groups) of vertebrates
