Dear Parents

Give it a Go
There is new Government money available to schools to support families on low incomes. This money is to pay for activities such as Teamtheme football, residential visits, riding lessons, swimming, cubs and brownies etc.

In order to access these funds your child needs to be eligible for Free School Meals (They do not have to take the meals just be eligible to have them) or a child in care.

If you would like to talk to me, in confidence, about this exciting opportunity, and how it could help you to access extra activities for your child, please come in.

Child initiatives for Fund Raising
Two of our pupils have arranged fund raising events for their favourite charities. We want to encourage such enterprise in our children and the relevant dates are:

Friday 26th March: Mufti Day

Forthcoming events:
• Mosque visit by Beech and Willow classes on Thursday 18th March
• Somerset Music Spectacular on Tuesday 23rd March
• ESFA West Country heat at Fry's Keynsham on Saturday March 27th
