A final Autumn term newsletter to It has been a busy but very successful term with our children having the opportunity to participate in a range of curriculum enrichment activities such as; Leeson House, walking to Burrow Hill, making Harvest Bread, Science Day at Bruton School, whole class Brass Tuition, Languages Day, Science Workshops, Image Theatre company (The Selfish Giant) and much more (see the website for more details). Thank you all for your support over the last term with these various events. By working together at Kingsbury Episcopi Primary School, we can really ensure the best provision possible for all our children.
Image Musical Theatre Presents 'The Selfish Giant'
The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit from the Image Musical Theatre on Tuesday. The production of 'The Selfish Giant' included all the children and some even got to go on stage and act.
PTA Christmas Hampers
Well done to all PTA members, children and parents for providing such wonderful hamper prizes. The Christmas raffle raised over £350. This is an excellent achievement for all involved. It could not happen without your support, so many thanks.
Well Done Children in Need Fundraisers
Well done to the School Council and other fund raisers for all your efforts in raising money for Children in Need. So far we have collected over £250.
Headlice
Headlice are making a frequent appearance in some of our classes again. Please can you check your child(ren)'s head over the holidays and treat them if you find any sign of headlice.
School closes on 16th December and re-opens on Thursday 5 January following a teacher training day on 4 January.
May I take this opportunity on behalf of all of the staff, to wish you a happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.
