Questionnaires
Please find attached questionnaires for you and for your children to complete. Your responses to these questionnaires are very valuable to us. Previous questionnaire data has led to many improvements in what the school offers and to ways in which the school is run.

Please can your responses be returned to the office by Monday February 8th?

Victorian Day
Our Victorian Day is this Wednesday January 27th when we are asking children to come to school in an outfit suitable for a Victorian school child. We have had a great suggestion from one of our parents that children try to bring as authentic a packed lunch as possible that day! It could be very interesting for children to discuss with you what they might bring.

Gardening Club
We need someone to take on this club following the departure of Mr Green. It would be such a pity if our wonderful raised beds are not cultivated and if we lose the enthusiasm of the children for gardening. If there is anyone who is interested in taking on this club, please come and have a chat with me about what this entails.

Lateness
There are considerable numbers of children who are getting to school after the bell in the mornings and are subsequently receiving a Late Mark in the register. The bell is rung at 8.55 am. Please can I ask that everyone is here in plenty of time; I would suggest that children should be in the playground by 8.50 am at the latest. In my regular meetings with the Education Attendance Officer school records are studied and instances of lateness are discussed. I would like to see these Late Marks become a thing of the past. Thank you for your support with this troublesome issue.
