Dear Parents

Headteacher Interviews
The school Governors have decided that the Headteacher interviews will not go ahead next week as originally planned. There was a very good field of candidates for the post but in the last few days several of those short-listed have withdrawn from the interviews for a variety of reasons. The governors are currently in talks with County officers and will inform you as soon as possible of the arrangements made to secure this important appointment. Please rest assured that the governors are working really hard to make sure that the decisions made regarding the Headteacher appointment will be the very best possible for the school.

School Sports Kit
If your child borrows school kit please would you ensure that it is returned to school promptly? With so many matches taking place, we need to ensure that kit is in school ready for the next event.

Break Up and Next Term
We break up for the Easter holidays next Thursday and return to school on Monday April 19th for the start of the Summer Term. Our theme for the term is "Patterns" and many exciting and interesting activities and learning opportunities are being planned. On Wednesday 21st April we would like your child to come to school wearing patterned clothes for a day full of inspiring activities that will kick start the Summer Term theme.

Easter Bonnets
On the last day of term (next Thursday) your child may wear an Easter bonnet to school. Prizes will be awarded!

Lost
A pale pink Nintendo DS was brought into school and has gone missing. Please have a good look for it in case it has been brought home by mistake.

Library
Please ensure that you child has borrowed their full quota of 2 books from the school library as holiday reading.
