Nativity and Carol Service
Unfortunately, there was an error on the last newsletter. The time of the Carol Service is 2.00pm on Tuesday 14th December, NOT 6.00pm. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

School Lunches
Although we have been very pleased with the quality of meals which we have received from Monty's Kitchen at Monteclefe School in Somerton, we have decided to change our school meals provider to The Old Barn Owl in Hambridge. There has been a significant cost to the school in having to collect the meals from Somerton and due to the distance involved, the time at which the lunches are served can be delayed. The Old Barn Owl provides meals to several other local schools and the service comes highly recommended. We have also visited one of the schools at lunchtime and sampled the food, which was found to be very good. The new service will commence on Monday 6th December.

The arrangements for ordering lunches will change slightly. The order forms are specific to each week with the menus printed on them and cheques need to be made payable to 'The Old Barn Owl'. The price will remain at £2.50 per meal. There will be new order forms available in Reception from Monday. Orders must be placed by the end of school on Tuesdays. Please note we need to cancel any meal missed due to illness by 9:30 that morning.

Clubs
All clubs will finish next week with the exception of Football and Netball (which finished last week) and Drama which will continue until the end of term.

Reception 2011
If you have a child at school with a sibling with a date of birth between 01/09/2006 - 31/08/2007, you will need to apply for a school place for September 2011. All enquiries should be made to the School Admissions Team (0845 4564038).

PTA School Disco
The PTA School Disco is next Friday (3rd December). Years R-2 is from 7pm-8pm and years 3-6 is from 8pm-9pm, admission is £1 to include free squash.

Sleeping Beauty
Thank you for all your contributions towards the cost of the Sleeping Beauty production. The children had a great time and it was wonderful to hear their laughter ringing through the school!
