Our latest news -
To commemorate our football coaching sessions carried out last half term, we visited Yeovil Town Football Club on Wednesday. We had such an exciting afternoon exploring the stadium and delving into the passion and history of The Glovers! We were lucky enough to witness the first team training, walk the players tunnel, view the pitch from each of the four stands, observe the manager’s dugout and explore the away players changing room! Jamie Phillip, performance centre CEO, even put us through our paces and asked some challenging questions in the press room! Such a wonderful experience, enjoyed by all!
We invite everyone at home to participate in positive change.
It’s easy! From Monday morning until Sunday evening, count as you throw!
You should have received an email with the information of how to get involved with The Big Plastic Count.
Any questions please come see Mel, Tina or Mr Bell.
We welcome Popcorn the KEPS Guinea Pig. This week children have fed, brushed, and kept Popcorn company in his new home. The children have cleaned his cage and made sure he has a soft, clean bed of straw. Over the weeks, months we would all be very grateful for donations of guinea pig grass feed, straw, old newspapers, and salad for treats. We will also be looking for kind volunteers over the school holidays to give him a home during the school holidays
Wow the KEPS running team absolutely smashed it this week at the Huish Academy Cross Country event. It was a particularly tricky and long course, with some big hills and LOTS of mud! All of our runners finished in the top 20 for their category! AMAZING!
NSPCC Number Day - 2nd February
Congratulations to the KEPS hockey players who competed in a tournament at Huish Episcopi Academy on Monday 29th Jan. They played four games resulting in two wins and two draws. Demonstrating excellent teamwork, they communicated with each other well and used the space on the pitch to both attack and defend excellently. Their confidence evidently grew throughout the evening and lots of fun was had! A huge Well Done to them!
Thank you to Mr Spike and the Royal Navy Team for delivering a very special visitor for Christmas 2023. Father Christmas came to visit via a Military Merlin Helicopter. The whole school were thrilled to see such a fantastic spectacle and it was so lovely to see the sunshine as well. Thank you everyone, a really special memory!!!
