Hello Elm class
Welcome to week 2 of Home learning. I hope you are all keeping busy and active. It has been lovely to hear from some of you and what you have been up to. I can see that some of you have completed AR quizzes and have been on TT Rockstars. Thanks for the Rockslam challenges! Remember there are also challenges to complete on Numbots - you can link to this from TT Rockstars, it really helps to keep your number facts fresh in your mind.
Happy learning everyone!

Hello Elm class
I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the home learning. As I mentioned in my last message we have revised a lot of learning this week to help you to adjust to your new home learning environment. However, next week we will be experiencing some new learning. I can imagine you all cheering as I know you all love a challenge! There are lessons to watch and worksheets to complete (you can either print or complete the questions in your home learning book).
Keep up the good work and get ready to make those brilliant brains work a bit harder this week!
Keep smiling Elm class!
Monday 23rd March 2020
Hello Elm class
I hope you have managed to get outside over the weekend and enjoyed the lovely sunshine. I will post a timetable of activities on the home learning area of our class page every week. This week will be mainly about you revisiting some of the learning we have recently experienced in class. Remember all of those tips I give you regularly in class! Use your Home Learning books (yellow), treat it just as you would your book in class with your neatest, joined handwriting, the correct punctuation and answering any questions in full extended sentences.
Make sure you take regular breaks from your Home Learning, I have added a link to Joe Wicks' live PE lessons but other than that, please go outside and play or be creative. Some activities will require you to go online however I have tried to limit this as much as possible.
I will post the answers to the Grammar questions the day after the task so that you can mark these and correct any errors.
Your parents and you (now you know how to send an email from our ICT lesson) can contact me via the office email should you have any questions or would just like to say 'Hi'. I will miss your weekend news on Mondays and would love to hear all about what you have been up to!
Most of all, take care of yourself, keep smiling and be happy! Make the most of this time with your family.
Happy Home Learning Elm class!
