Our Spanish Day was really interesting and good fun. The children had a chance to go around all the classes, where there were different activities. In Oak Class the children looked at the work and life of Picasso, in Ash Class they worked around the architectural art of Gaudi, in Elm Class they made Paella!! Miss Gold was in the Hall teaching the children to dance the Flamenco, in Beech Class the children learn action songs and a few words, and also made giant heads, the type Spanish people parade in their festivities. In Willow Class the children were busy with Mr Higgins making Spanish galleons. We finished the wonderful day with a whole school assembly in the Hall. Our thanks to Mrs King for her enthusiastic support and help with this event.
