Ash Class

Ash Class wrote some wonderful descriptions of places they would go to in their own chapter of Journey.

We loved sharing the reading of Journey as a class.

Krindlekrax was our second text this term. The story is all about a street with a terrible secret lurking in the sewers beneath it.

We read the story of Krindlekrax in Ash Class this term. We made predictions about who or what we thought the monster was, wrote character descriptions and a letter of complaint about the one of the characters. The children loved getting into role as the angry residents of Lizard Street and sharing their feelings about Elvis!

We have been reading The Great Kapok Tree in Ash Class. We have written brilliant non-chronological reports about some of the amazing animals of the Amazon rainforest.

Afternoon tea anyone? We tasted different teas today and described them!
