At KEPS, we want all children to develop a curiosity about their environment around them and the wider world and its countries and continents. We want children to recognise how the human and physical geography of a location makes it different to another and make comparisons. We want children to reflect on how their daily actions can affect their local environment and the wider world and what they can do to protect and respect it. We want children to experience and understand their own locality as much as possible through local visits and trips, walks in our immediate school locality, workshops and inviting people into our school to share their expertise about our local area and beyond.
