Message from Mr Thompson

I hope this message finds you well.

I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Head Teacher at Kingsbury Episcopi Primary School. It is a real privilege to join such a vibrant and caring school community, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be working alongside a dedicated team of staff who clearly work tirelessly to support our pupils and their families.

From my very first day, I have been struck by the warmth and friendliness of everyone I’ve met. Thank you all for your kind words of welcome and the cheerful greetings at the school gate — they have made a big difference as I settle in. I would also like to extend a special thank you to the pupils, whose fantastic attitude and enthusiasm have made the start of the new school year a real joy.

As with any new role, I am slowly getting to grips with how things work and gradually learning who everyone is — please do bear with me as I find my feet! I am very much looking forward to working in partnership with you to help the school continue to grow and thrive.

A polite notice regarding our Friday Celebration Assemblies: while it has been lovely to welcome parents in to see their child receive a certificate or award, we will be making some changes moving forward. We are excited to introduce more opportunities for whole classes to celebrate their learning with you all. This will ensure that every child has the chance to regularly share the progress they’ve made and the wonderful things they’ve been working on. Please watch this space for more details.

Clubs are available to book on Wisepay. If there are not 10 children per club, unfortunately we will have to cancel the club.

Clubs start on Monday 13^th January and finish on Thursday 13^th February.
