At Kingsbury Episcopi Primary School, we believe that through high quality language teaching and learning, children will be able to foster curiosity and deepen their understanding of the world. We strive to teach French in a way that is enjoyable and stimulating to lay the foundations for future language learning. As a school, we aim to embed listening, speaking, reading and writing skills that are needed to enable children to apply their learning in a variety of contexts. Through teaching French, we also introduce children to the country and culture of France. We help children grow in confidence through teaching new vocabulary alongside lots of reinforcement.
